As in all successful careers, you get back what you give out in return. The Society of Hope Help Fund was founded based on this factor. For this reason, Barbra Curtiss, Founder, is committed to giving back to her members thru a resource that can be used for a hardship that would prevent the member from business development or personal emergency hardship. Many organizations have a preferred charity and Barbra Curtiss is, and always will be very loyal too many charities but NSFRA’s first priority is to give back to its members who make this organization a success.
The Society of Hope will be a self-funded resource where Agents and Business Partner donations as well as 25% of all membership fees will be placed in The Society of Hope Help Fund where members can request financial assistance for an unforeseen hardship. This fund will be available upon reaching a $2500 base of donations. Members can request financial assistance for themselves or other members by contacting us.
Giving Back
Inspired by doing unto others, the Society of Hope Hardship Fund is dedicated to helping its members in time of need. Although the Society of Hope is funded by membership donations and individual donations, NSFRA also sponsors additional fundraisers throughout the year such as Pink Day where members ask their staffs to make a $5 contribution to wear jeans and a pink shirt to work on a designated day with all proceeds going to The Society of Hope Fund.
